Cher lecteur de Mandalay, je connais bien votre ville et son histoire de Pagan au roi Minon Min. J’ai bien reçu votre commentaire. Merci. Mais je n’en ai pas très bien compris le texte ( which was badly garbled )..

Would you repeat it in English ?

For the while, I will quote you what I heard being posted in another country - far from Burma - where a military coup had imposed a “way to a new order”.

quote “ If one is a foreigner keeping quiet, and not a socialist, a communist, a jew, a member of workers unions, a free- mason, a “democratic party member, or leader, a social worker, a member of human right institution, you will be able to lead an undisturbed family life, and attend any “rock” “punk,” or “metal concert you want. If not so, I’m afraid that one’s freedom or even life could be shortened by the only will of few generals..” UNQUOTE

Sincerely yours
