« Unlike Other Three Crashes, Pentagon Attack Does Not Produce Clear Seismic Signal Edit event The strike on the Pentagon does not generate a clear seismic signal. A study by the Maryland Geological Survey will state, “We analyzed seismic records from five stations in the northeastern United States, ranging from 63 to 350 km from the Pentagon. Despite detailed analysis of the data, we could not find a clear seismic signal. Even the closest station… did not record the impact. We concluded that the plane impact to the Pentagon generated relatively weak seismic signals.”

Even though two planes have already crashed in New York, some people in the Pentagon initially think a bomb has gone off when their building is hit :

« Steve Carter, who is in the Building Operations Command Center on the first floor of the Pentagon, hears a “big boom,” and tells his assistant, “I think we just got hit by a bomb.”

 

“John Bowman, a retired Marine lieutenant colonel, is in his office near the main entrance to the Pentagon’s south parking lot at the time of the attack. He later describes, “Most people knew it was a bomb.”

 

“Army Colonel Jonathan Fruendt is in his second floor office in the Pentagon’s inner A Ring, when he feels and hears “a very sharp jolt and the sound of an explosion.” He later recalls, “I thought it was a bomb that had gone off.”

 

(9:38 a.m.) September 11, 2001 : Some Officers in Area Where Pentagon Is Hit Think Bombs Have Exploded

 

“At least three Pentagon employees in the area of the building that is hit, and who narrowly survive the attack, initially believe that what they have experienced is a bomb, or bombs, going off :”

 

“John Thurman, an Army lieutenant colonel, is in a second floor office just above where the Pentagon is hit. [Washington Post, 4/12/2006] He later describes the moment of impact : “To me it didn’t seem like a plane.… [T]o me it seemed like it was a bomb. Being in the military, I have been around grenade, artillery explosions. It was a two-part explosion to me.… [I]t seemed like that there was a percussion blast that blew me kind of backwards in my cubicle to the side. And then it seemed as if a massive explosion went off at the same time.” He will add : “I had thought that perhaps the terrorists had surreptitiously gotten construction workers to come in and place explosives.”

 

“Lt. Nancy McKeown is on the first floor of the Pentagon’s D Ring in the Navy Command Center, which is mostly destroyed when the building is hit. She will recall : “[I]t initially felt like an earthquake.… It sounded like a series of explosions going off.… It sounded like a series of bombs exploding, similar to like firecrackers when you light them and you just get a series going off.” She yells out to her colleagues, “Bomb ! »

 

“bullet Army Lt. Col. Brian Birdwell is returning to his second floor office, and is just yards from where the building is impacted. “Bomb ! I thought,” he recalls of the moment the building is hit.”

 

On peut ajouter le témoignage d’April Gallop. Celle-ci a signalé que son bureau se trouvait à seulement 40 pieds (12,20 mètres) du fameux trou d’entrée du pentagone (à une distance aussi courte on ne voit pas comment elle aurait pu survivre à l’impact d’un Boeing 757 lancé à la vitesse officielle de 530 miles par heure, elle fut seulement blessée) et affirme avoir entendu, au moins, deux explosions.

 

Citations de son action en justice : « Her desk was roughly 40 feet from the point where the plane allegedly hit the outside wall.” “Instead, just when plaintiff turned on her computer — for an urgent document-clearing job she was directed by her supervisor to rush and begin, as soon as she arrived at work, without dropping her baby off at child care until she was finished — a huge explosion occurred, and at least one more that she heard and felt, and flames shot out of the computer.”

Dans son étude “L’avion magique du Pentagone » Pierre-Henri Bunel expliquait pour quelles raisons les images de l’explosion au pentagone ne pouvaient pas correspondre à une déflagration de kérosène mais plutôt à une détonation d’explosifs à haut pouvoir énergétique :

« La première vue (cahier photo, p. II, reproduite ci-dessus) est celle d’une gerbe blanche qui semble être une fumée blanche. Elle rappelle immanquablement la vaporisation de l’eau contenue dans l’air ambiant au moment du début du déploiement dans l’atmosphère d’une onde de choc supersonique de matière détonante. On distingue toutefois des traces de flamme rouge caractéristique des hautes températures qu’atteint l’air sous la pression d’une onde de choc rapide. Ce qui saute aux yeux, c’est que l’onde de choc démarre de l’intérieur du bâtiment. On voit au-dessus du toit la sortie de la boule d’énergie qui n’est pas encore une boule de feu. On peut légitimement penser à une détonation d’un explosif à haut pouvoir énergétique, mais pour le moment on ne peut encore déterminer s’il s’agit d’une charge à effet dirigé ou non. On distingue au ras du sol, partant de la droite de la photo et allant vers la base de la masse de vapeur blanche, un sillon blanc de fumée. Il laisse carrément penser à la fumée qui sort de la tuyère d’un propulseur d’engin volant. A la différence de la fumée qui sortirait des deux moteurs à kérosène, celle-ci est bien blanche. Les turboréacteurs d’un Boeing 757 auraient, en effet, laissé une traînée de fumée beaucoup plus noire. Le seul examen de cette photo laisse déjà penser à un appareil volant monomoteur de beaucoup plus petite taille qu’un avion de ligne. Pas à deux turbopropulseurs General Electric »

 

Mon point de vue personnel est que les dommages d’impact au pentagone ont été faits par des explosifs placés à l’avance, peut-être complétés par un tir de missile. Les conspirateurs de l’inside job se sont débrouillés pour faire apparaître quelques « preuves » de leurs versions des faits : petits débris d’avions, lampadaires couchés..  J’ai bien vu que  Craig Ranke (CIT) écarte l’implication d’un missile aéroporté dans l’attentat estimant que seulement des explosifs déposés dans le bâtiment sont responsables des dégâts. Personnellement je ne suis pas d’accord avec ce point de vue mais ce n’est pas un point capital c’est la raison pour laquelle je ne prendrais pas le temps de développer pourquoi je ne suis pas d’accord ce point de vue. Le point capital évident, pour moi, étant qu’aucun Boeing 757 n’a heurté le pentagone.
