« This image was inspired by the music of Steve Roach and Vidna Obmana, using photo manipulation. The main picture and composition is based on two photos taken in the Tatra Mountains, Slovakia. I wanted to show a kind of mythical place, a cave set in high, mystical mountains, with an ancient sanctuary that cannot be attained by casual hikers. Somewhere cold, unwelcoming, and difficult to access. A place for ‘chosen ones’ : the legendary well of souls where it is said that you can communicate with your ancestors. »
